Evvy hasn't had an easy life. She was sold by her parents as a small child into slavery as she was just another mouth to feed and, as she says, because she was a girl. She was beaten by the master she was sold, but eventually managed to escape and lived on the streets fending for herself for several years. When she does eventually find kindness, they find themselves entangled in a war that's not their own. Because of this Evvy has been tortured as a prisoner of war, the sole survivor of a massive slaughter, and found her ten cats brutally murdered (who were her only family for some time).

If someone asks her these are things she will openly talk about and are internal motivators for how she behaves (aside from her cats, who she still seems to struggle with talking about). While I'll never push them into conversation needlessly, they're still important aspects of her life so far. For Evvy, she only escaped the war six months ago, so she's still not fully healed. Touching her, getting in her face, and the color red have proven to set off fight responses. If any or all of these things are difficult to handle for you, please feel free to reach out to me!
